Foster healthy intergenerational and intercultural relationships, strengthen church culture, and build effective partnerships that equip you to participate in God’s mission locally and globally — now and into the future.
Before you apply
Participating in TICI is a rewarding and significant commitment. As your church prayerfully considers applying to TICI Australia, we invite you to reflect on the following points.
Your TICI Team
- Each participating church establishes a team of 5–8 participants, comprising all pastors and selected lay leaders from different generations and language groups.
- The team works together throughout the learning journey to strengthen your church’s intergenerational and missional life.
Time Commitment
- Two in-person gatherings per year: Each church team commits to meeting for two days, twice a year.
- Monthly planning meetings: Each team meets monthly for an hour to reflect on what they have learnt and continue planning and implementing changes together.
- Monthly prayer gatherings: At least one team member from your TICI team meets monthly for a Zoom prayer gathering with other TICI Australia churches. Different team members can take turns in representing your church at these prayer gatherings.
Language Requirement
- The learning journey is conducted in English. All participants should be able to communicate adequately in English, or have team members who can assist with translation, ensuring all voices are heard.
Cost
- There will be a one-off fee per church (amount to be confirmed) that covers honorariums and essential program costs.
Commitment and Readiness
- Each team must be committed to the full journey, willing to set aside the necessary time, and open to working together to grow as a church community.
The program is expected to start in Sydney in 2027, so preparation and team readiness are key.
