TICI Australia
Our Mission
The Thriving Immigrant Congregations Initiative (TICI) aims to enable and equip immigrant churches to develop healthy intergenerational and intercultural relationships within immigrant churches so that they might thrive as spiritual and missional communities of faith, making gospel impact beyond their ethnic boundaries.

What is TICI Australia?
A Learning Journey
TICI Australia is a learning journey for immigrant churches. Each participating church will establish a TICI team of 5-8 members, comprising all pastors and selected lay leaders from different generations and language groups.
There are two two-day in-person Learning Community Gatherings each year, focusing on the following themes:
- Healthy intergenerational/intercultural relationships& partnerships.
- Healthy congregational culture that promotes intergenerational relationships & partnerships.
- Effective intergenerational partnerships in doing God’s missions locally & globally.
- Moving forward in the intergenerational journey.
Monthly Team Meetings
Each team meets monthly for an hour to reflect on what they have learnt and continue planning and implementing changes together.
Monthly Zoom Prayer Meetings
Each team selects one or two representatives to join monthly Zoom prayer gatherings, so participating churches can pray for one another as we seek God’s guidance.
